DiZ Ceramic Art

Creating nonfictional ceramic pieces allows me to get really creative.  I love to see where the clay and glazes take me.  My pieces are orbital, smooth, rough, reflect light, let out light, have motion.  I also love to mix multiple techniques - Slab rolling, throwing, slumping, slip work all in one piece.

I enjoy throwing and slab rolling functional pottery as well (bowls, strainers, pitchers, platters, mugs) however, I don't do mathchy-matchy pieces.  I don't know why, I just don't enjoy that process.  Use my functional pottery in the oven, microwave and dishwasher.
